Killian's POV

I had no idea how fast she could walk until I had gotten to the end of the stairs and couldn't find a trace of Ana. A part of me badly wanted to look up, see Katie once more from my point of view if she had a look of concern too or she absolutely wanted nothing to do with this mess.

My thoughts about Katie faded to bits when I heard a howl of pain. I rushed to the scene allowing my ears to lead me in the direction of the scream. And there she was.

One of her heels had broken off and she had tripped to the ground. I rolled my eyes. She most definitely was too drunk to be doing this.

“Save me and save you the embarrassment, let's get back inside or let me take you home.” I offered, the exasperation was clear in my voice. I clearly didn't want to be here when I had two of the closest people in my life right now being currently mad at me.
