I think Blade is trying to kill me.

I have never in my life worked out as hard as. I am to keep up with him. But if I ever fall or say that it’s hard or I can’t do it then he tells me to get back up again and push even harder.

It’s crazy to think that I was so close to kissing this man just a few hours ago because now I want to do nothing other than throttle him. He seems to know this and gives me a cocky smirk before setting a cup down in front of me and saying, “Drink. You’ve earned a five minute break.”

The last thing I want to drink is blood. I want to drink water. I open my mouth to tell him that and he tells me, “The blood will rejuvenate you and make you feel energized. No arguing.”

My eyes narrow and I say, “I’m half human. I need water so I don’t like… dehydrate!”
