Chapter 61

"Violet!"

Lucian called her name as he woke up from his sleep. He sat up on the mattress. His heart was beating wildly with worry, gripping him firmly. Horace, Eric, and Oliver, who were sleeping in the tent with him, woke up from their sleep at the sound.

"My king, what's wrong?" Horace asked as they crouched near him. Not a single word came out of Lucian's mouth. He was struggling to catch his breath. Seeing Lucian's pale face with deep worry in his eyes made them worry about him.

Lucian moved his gaze from the front to Horace's. "Tell our soldiers to move now," he said.

Horace and the others saw Lucian standing up from the mattress with worry and curiosity in their eyes. They wanted to know what had happened to him, but they didn't dare to ask more.

They then stood up and did as their king said. 

Lucian and his men, along with thousands of soldiers, mounted on their horses and went from that place towards the village of Isambard in the
