Chapter 18

Jason stumbled into the hour in the early hours of the morning. He wanted to get home once he knew Maya was asleep.

"So much for four hours later, huh?" Maya giggled.

Jason turned to the couch, where he saw Maya sitting. He was too drunk to think straight, so he approached Maya. He threw himself onto the couch and laughed.

"Have you been drinking?" Maya asked.

Maya could smell the alcohol on her husband, but she wanted to hear it from him. Jason turned to face her and smiled.

"You know, Maya." He mumbled. "I don't want any illegitimate children. I only want my wife to give me children. I want you to give me children."

Jason closed his eyes and wiggled his eyebrows in response. Maya had always wanted children. She was glad that Jason was on the same page as her.

"I want them now. Let's have a baby." He whined.
