The new place was dusty and impossible to live in.

Before we settled, we had to clean. Everyone got their hands dirty and helped make the space beneath the ground more hospitable.

I was dead exhausted by the time we were done. I couldn’t even move my legs as soon as I collapsed on top of the mattress we placed in the office space, which was the space Nox and I would be occupying for the time being.
