"Let's go? We have to go back downstairs. I'm starving too," said Jacob.

I nodded. I can still see his discomfort when he helped me stand up. My back really needs to get healed. I don't want Jacob to always take care of me like a child. And because of what happened earlier, I started to feel awkward whenever he's close.

I simply looked at him as I fastened my seat belt. He was very quiet but I noticed that his neck and ears were red. I just didn't pay attention to that and just kept quiet. I took his baseball cap again and put it back on even without his permission. The car started and we started and no one dared to speak for a long time. The tension between us grew and the air around us was suffocating.

I couldn't stop myself and let out a violent breath. I looked away when Jacob turned to me. I focused my eyes to the view on my side. I don't want to admit it but I feel annoyed with Jacob because of what happened earlier and it worsen even more when he apologized.
