The next morning Sam woke up slowly, with her eyes still closed she snuggled into her pillow. Curious as to what time it was, she slowly forced her eyes open. Once back at home she paced her living room back and forth feeling sick. Her father had written out exactly what she was going to say tomorrow morning when they met with David and his lawyer. Sam sat in the window seat staring at the sun sink slowly into the city skyline. A few snowflakes fell slowly to the street below.
