Chapter Forty Five
The face staring back at him in the mirror taunted him. He was indeed stupid. How could he not have seen the signs sooner? He was indeed pathetic. The image of a disappointed Robyn crossed his mind and he visibly cringed. The last thing he wanted was to do that to hurt her.
It had all started the day they arrived when his assistant had insisted on getting the room opposite his at the hotel. He paid no attention to that. He thought she just felt safe. Then almost near mid night she had knocked on his door claiming she had lost her phone and he had to help her. She was trying to touch him every chance he got and he still ignored it.
He did not know how she had gotten into his room. He woke up to someone kissing him and he had kissed back! As if on clock mode, something didn't feel right about the kiss and so he had opened his eyes.

Drew left the hospital at four in the morning. His night shift had ended and if he was being honest, he did not enjoy it that much.
