13. Confrontation

I stare at the familiar hat that hung on the cloth stand. Is this a coincidence or a reality I don’t want to face? If I’m not wrong, it is the hat the guy always wore. The guy!! It’s Kevin!!

My lip parted into an expression of both hurt and shock, revolted by what hung in front of me. The feeling of disbelief and betrayal hung tale in the air, suffocating me to the point that my mind pleaded me to forget everything.

It may just be a silly misunderstanding, I can’t believe I’m creating this into such an issue. Kevin must’ve gotten the same hat from somewhere. Duh! I rolled my eyes. But a part of me knew I was just trying to convince myself that it wasn’t true when in reality I know it’s the bitter truth. The hat, that’s one of a kind. It’s a leather hat made from a unique material I can’t really depict, but I know it’s his hat by the way it smells. I know it’s weird, but it gives off
