Chapter 11

Alpha Drake’s POV

I had had a long day, from meeting other alphas for a ceremony to supervising the building of another company of mine. These were tasks that I could not have delegated because they needed my presence. The only thing I regretted was not being able to see Hazel. I had wanted to pass by the company but I was exhausted and needed to wash off the day’s dirt. Pack business was sometimes draining. However, I derived pleasure in knowing that I had all that power in my hands. I could wield it the way I deemed fit. I could break anyone at will.

Speaking of power, I needed to punish the wolves that were disturbing my peaceful rest. I had been hearing the noise for some minutes now but chose to ignore it. It was now becoming louder.

“I want to talk to Drake now. Move out of the way.” One of the voices shouted.

“I am not going to repeat myself. You better leave this place before I wipe the floor with you.” A voice I recognized said.
