IN ALIT's MANSION

In the luxurious expanse of Alit's mansion, Ederic lay on the bed, tightly clutching the blanket as shivers racked his feverish body. The aftermath of his recent trip had left him unwell, his temperature soaring. His concerned mother remained faithfully by his side, her worry palpable.

"Ed, you're truly scaring your Eomma. How did this fever catch you?" With a delicate touch, she blew on the steaming cup of soup, her eyes fixed on her ailing son.

Blinking his eyes incessantly, Ederic felt an overwhelming numbness enveloping him. The sensation of heat alternated with chills, and his body ached all over. Sweat trickled down his forehead as weakness and dehydration drained his energy, leaving him unable to focus on anything around him.
