Not Hide and Seek

I smiled at the scene in front of me. The couple I was with were currently harvesting potatoes in their backyard garden. Still remember the middle-aged woman who helped me escape. Yes. She finally gave me a ride to stay with her. At first I refused because I felt bad. But seeing her begging so much, I couldn't bear it. They were a caring couple. At the beginning of my stay here, I told her the reason why I ran away on the night of Mr. O'connor's gala party. I only told them a little bit of the rest there were some truths I hid, including the identity between me and Axe. I didn't tell them that the man holding me captive was my own brother who was so obsessed with me. Even so, they kept encouraging me. I'm glad God brought me together with good people like them.

"Morine, I got a big potato," I said excitedly. The middle-aged woman I called Morine smiled and walked over to me. She eagerly helped me pull the potato from its roots.
