The sound of Justin Beiber filled the kitchen as I danced round mixing a bowl of pancake mix. Roman’s siblings were coming over and I thought it necessary to make a good impression on them so I decided to make breakfast and a couple of other things. Kylie and Ronald came very early the next morning, I honestly wondered what reasonable advice Ronald could offer to wedding shopping. I woke up with a slight headache and that was enough indication to state that my day was not going to be good. I rolled out of my bed and headed for my bathroom to take a cold shower. I quickly wore my clothes and walked sown the stairs. I could hear conversation in the kitchen, I walked down the stairs slowly and hid by the wall. “we cant tell her now” one of them said. I couldn’t really place the voice though. “no”the second person snapped and I knew it was Roman “it’ll only hurt more”. I walked into the kitchen at that moment and both men looked up at me. The entire house was quiet, considering I had many noisy brothers the quietude was very unsettling but I understood why. I sat at the edge of one chair in the living room of my fathers house, roman sitting beside me as we both watched a rerun of friends on the TV even though our minds were completely off. Matias sat in another chair staring into space and completely ignoring our presence. He hadn't spoken a word since we arrived earlier in the morning. I could understand his pain, he was the closest to our father while the rest of us were rather distanced. He took everything father said as gold. Camila I woke up with my head on something very hard with something as heavy as a log wrapped around my waist. I groaned as the alarm clock started to ring at that very minute. I opened my eyes wider and stare a round the room until my eyes landed on roman who lay beside me. He groaned when the sound of the alarm filtered into his ears. “shut that thing off” he shouted, rubbing furiously as his eyes. I chuckled and he turned his attention to me. He looked so cute with his bed hair and overgrown beard. “whats funny?” he asked, pulling me closer. I shook my head and smiled. He reached out and shut the alarm off. He pulled m closer until I was mushed against his chest . the door opened then and Xavier walked in. He screamed and shut the door. Matias was the first to leave the dinning room. He walked into the living room and flopped into one of the chairs with a loud huff. I looked away from my re run of mean girls and stared at him wondering why he was hunched in his chair like he’d been scolded. He looked at me and we stared at each other for a few seconds before he broke the silence. “i want a niece first” he announced with a sour face, i giggled. “whatever you want Matias” I replied. He shrugged, looking down at the couch and picked at it before looking up again. “but seriously is this what you want, I mean right now, don’t let anyone pressure you into doing it” he said with all seriousness. I woke up with a mild headache and a running nose. I felt my body shivering even though sunlight gushed through my open window. I reached up slowly and pressed the back of my palm against my forehead. It was burning hot. I was sick just as Roman predicted. I laid back on my pillow wondering what the hell I was going to do. Roman came in then already dressed in his navy blue suit with matching pants. He walked towards me and placed his palm on my forehead.“you are sick, caught a cold” he stated with a look that said I told you so. I rolled my eyes at him as much as I could manage. He chuckled and pulled me up to a sitting position before placing pillows around my head so that I could lean on them. I coughed loudly at that moment and groaned when I felt pain in my throat. “I’ll fix a hot shower for you now and make some soup”. he said ‘don’t move”. roman took off his suit jacket and walked into our bathroom. I felt better waking up the next morning, Roman’s side of the bed was empty but still a bit warm meaning he’d just woke up. I rolled out of the bed to go to the shower because if felt clammy and sweaty. I groaned when o looked at where I stood up from and saw it soiled with blood. I’d been so caught up with a lot of things that I forgot to check the date. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs, so I hurried back to the bed, lay down and covered myself with the duvet. Roman walked in dressed in shorts and a normal t shirt.“i know you are not sleeping Camila, come have breakfast” he said.“don’t worry, I’ll come after you” I replied but he didn't move instead he came forward and ripped the duvet off me.“get up” he instructed.
