Chapter Fourteen

Celina's POV

"Feeling tired?" said the voice of the man I knew and will never forget even after three years. I slowly opened my eyes and found him leaning against my office door frame.

I wanted to run to him but I remembered that he left me the next morning after we consummated our marriage, so I closed my eyes again and tried to ease the tension that was building up in my head. Then I opened my eyes and looked at him,

"You're back," I said with a stoic face. I didn't want to sound bitter even if that's what I am feeling at that very moment. He got in and sat in a chair in front of me.

"Having problems with last month's report." he said, not asking. I think Daria already told him about what happened so I didn't bother telling him.

"Did you just arrive?" I asked him instead.

"Yes," he replied.

"Is that how much you worry that you need to check your company as soon as you arrive?" I asked again.
