Chapter 12 Revealing

I’ve been so exhilarated ever since the proposal. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to call mom and dad to let them know the big news. My parents are beyond picky about who I choose, it’s all about reputation this and reputation that. My ex was quite wealthy, however, his attitude reeked. I guess maybe mom is different now and she’ll understand that I’m happy with Jack. Maybe she'll help me with the wedding.
