Chapter 14

I am currently standing inside our condo’s balcony while appreciating the city lights in the background. Tall buildings are being lit up as early as five in the afternoon, and now that it’s seven almost eight already, it became more beautiful, plus the cars from below is wonderful to look out.

“I don’t know but your smile sometimes creeps me out.”

I look at my right and saw Everleigh standing with me. Both of her hands are hugging herself while also appreciating the view in front. It’s cold anyway, and I wonder why. We are heading to March but the breeze is still cold as if it’s the month of December.

“I was not smiling.” I said after a few seconds.

Leigh look at me so I return back her stares until she gave me a knowing look then started poking me on my side. “You did something rubbish?”

A little chuckle came up from me before shoving her hand away. “Stop it, I did not.”
