" I suppose you're outside for a much important meeting," I asked trying to divert his attention from staring too much at my body.

" I came to see the deceased son," he said setting his back against the backrest of the chair.

" Oh," I replied, unsure of what else to say anymore.

According to the judge, the deceased wife would be the one to pay a fine for the involvement of crime and defamation of Mr Todd's company.

I was supposed to pity her and although faster, I already had plans to pay his medical bills anonymously.

" Why'd you do it," I asked.

" Because Esme, if a Father was willing to throw himself from stories of building to get compensation so he'd be able to foot the bills of his son, he was a good father," He said while looking up at me.

" And his wife, although she was greedy, I understood her point and why she didn't want to back out of the case, that was why I paid, they're being left alone without a father and a husband." He said again, while a waitress walked towa
