Lucy's pov;

The next morning, when I was taking Danny to kindergarten, Mercy stopped me when I was almost out the door.

She had a worried look on her face but she tried to hide it behind a frown, but I saw right through it.

"If you really want this wrist watch I can give it to you, just don't accuse my son of theft." Mercy said to me and I shook my head.

"I will not take it back because Cooper has not admitted to stealing it, when he admits that he stole it I will consider taking it,besides this isn't the first time something has gone missing in my room ,it's best my boss handles this." I told her and she frowned.

"Why are you trying to make things difficult ,when I have already told you I will give it back to you?" Mercy asked me angrily.

"I am running late ,I have to drop Danny off at the kindergarten,excuse me." I told her.

"Lucy ,don't bring trouble to my doorsteps or you won't like what I will do to you." Mercy threatened but I ignored her and left the house and took Danny to kin
