Chapter 13

"You're hurt," said Theodore, staring at his wife's wrist.

The abrasion on her wrist was shallow, but it seemed deeply etched in his eyes.

"I'm fine. I'll put on a Band-Aid later. You go ahead and take a shower."

"Let's shower together."

Theodore looked up and calmly gazed at her. He said those words as naturally as he had brought up getting a divorce.

Throughout their marriage, the couple often showered together, and sometimes, they couldn't resist...

Staring into Theodore's dark eyes, Rosalie felt flustered and confused, but she still forcefully pulled her hand away.

"It's fine. You go ahead and shower."
