Chapter 11 - Saturday

I had trouble going to sleep Friday night. I tossed and turned, wondering what the "incident" was that had Brandt leaving me with his second in command. Daniel was lovely, of course, but he would never tell me the truth. Not if Brandt told him to lie or evade. Brandt was the boss. What he says goes. I imagine I will know how that feels soon, but for a very different reason.

I wonder if it is against the rules to be jealous? I realized that was what was keeping me up. Not the fact that he left me with Daniel, but that he left with that girl. I had a bad feeling about it. He followed her into a room where the people inside were all in various states of undress and doing God knows what. Ha, who am I kidding? I want to know, and much, much more.

I have to admit to myself that I do feel jealous though. I was green with it and I didn't really like the feeling. I wonder if those two had a relationship at one time? The way she was looking at him.....it bothered me more than I would ha
