Chapter 13

Jolene stares up at the castle. She’s been told 100 times that this is going to be hers. She knows that patience is a virtue. First she has to save her future king. She says this was sarcasm to herself because she knows who her real king is.

The moon goddess can’t join them on this quest, because as the creator of the wolves, she can dictate what she wants, but she cannot control them or their actions. Luna and Diablo have put together this plan.

They go storming in right from the front gate as a distraction. Jolene goes from the back. Everyone is trying to fight out the powerful Luna and Diablo has learned a little bit of magic Jolene snakes in the back. She uses her connection to try to find him. Diablo reassures her that this is how she can find him quickly.
