Chapter 14

I woke up with a bright light blinding my eye. The walls were white and it seemed like everywhere is painted white. I found myself laying in a bed and it wasn’t a bedroom bed. I was in an infirmary. I travelled my eyes across the room to see if someone is here with me. But there wasn’t. At least one thing’s for sure. I am safe.

The doors creaked open and a female came in. She was wearing some kind of a doctor’s coat and those very intimidating glasses.

“I’m glad you’re awake, Luna.” she said

I moved to sit but my back hurts and I let out a groan of pain.

“Luna, please be careful. You have a spinal fracture and it is safe for you to keep in place. Don’t worry it is not as terrible as it seems. You only have a minor fracture and it will heal in a couple of days. Just don’t get involve with a lot of work and you’ll be fine.
