Chapter 3

His heart skipped at the sight of the woman whose face was so blurry to be seen. "Who are you please?" He asks again, scared that the royal seer must have been the one in front of him right now. He probably thought that he had disguised himself like a woman in order to hurt him.

"Don't be scared! I haven't come here to hurt you but to warn you on the actions of your consequence". The woman's words sounded so serious to his ears as he stood frozen. Unable to move with the statement she just uttered and without a doubt, he knew that the person standing before him right now was nothing but the Elder, who he had stoned to death. This is probably the Elder in disguise. Maybe His soul has come to take revenge.

"I'm sorry, please forgive me! I know you're probably angry with what we did to you but it wasn't intentional.

Please forgive us". He pleaded, about to kneel down when she spoke something that pulled His attention.

"I'm not the Elder who you have stone to death! I'm Selena, the Moon goddess". ZEEB mouth gaped open on hearing that as he kneel down to beg her. He doesn't know if she has come to punish Him for what he had done.

The elder werewolf he killed was one of her most esteemed servants and to think ZEEB couldn't confess or speak out for what he had done. He only felt bad about the consequences should his deed be heard and that was it. She told him that for the pain he caused the old man's mate and his family, Zeeb would never be able to find his mate ever in life and with that , she was gone.

ZEEB was so scared but he disregarded everything. Maybe he was dreaming. This couldn't be real. This can't be happening to him! If what the moon goddess has said to him was true then he will never get Mated to someone. If her words were True, he would never get the chance of seeing his soulmate. With a shuddering Body, he walked inside the house as he lay down on his bed, pitching himself to see if this was actually happening in reality or he's currently hallucinating. Maybe if he had spoken out earlier, the Moon goddess wouldn't have given him this punishment. Because he can't fully become an Alpha without his Luna by his side.

Three years Later

Zeeb was now twenty_ one years old and still wasn't able to find his mate. He was scared that the Moon goddess cursed was finally working on him, but why must it be working on him this time around? Zeeb' parents passed away some months back in a war which led to their Victory and downfall that caused the death of the Alpha and his wife.

Since Zeeb was the only Heir to The Alpha title, he was pronounced as the Alpha Of the sky moon pack after the death of His parents and the reason why it was delayed in the first place was the fact that he was unable to find his mate .

The Council was almost considering giving the alpha status to someone else when he came up with an idea. Why use a mate to measure his ability to rule the pack? Why not measure his ability with something else

Zeeb was pronounced Alpha when he completed his physical tests and passed. The Council had to offer several sacrifices to the Moon goddess for breaking the Alpha law of the pack but something more important bothered them: the marking that Alston, his mate, had on his body.

Alpha Zeeb was happy that he got his rightful place as Alpha but he was still filled with rage. Over the years, the omegas had looked at him in an odd way because he had no mate, and he blamed it on that dead elder.

The Sky pack was a unique pack. They were all part werewolf and part witch, the males being part werewolf and part wizard. This was because long ago, their pack faced a big threat of vampires and Alpha at the time had to do something so he married a witch and had a daughter. Their daughter was a hybrid and they were able to share her hybrid powers with the pack. That way, they could level the battlefield with the vampires. But even in the pack, some werewolves were born who showcased more witch powers and vice versa. It was a unique thing about them.

And this union provided them with the ability to transform at any time. So the full moon had no effect on them. The only time a Sky werewolf was forced to turn without their permission was on their first transformation night. But to make sure that no one used their power in vain, a rule was made that no one must use their powers outside their line of duty.

This ability allowed them to move out of the woods into civilization. They built their own town which they called Bayview and lived well among the humans.

A year into his reign, Alpha Zeeb imposed a new rule. Everyone in the pack that had prominent witch powers would be put under a binding spell to suppress the witch in them. His hatred for anyone or anything that was witch or wizard had continued to grow until he couldn't take it anymore. He wanted a mate but couldn't have one because of one old man's death and that pained him to the core by giving him sleepless nights.

That night Ashina couldn't sleep. She was having these nightmares again and how her parents were killed by the previous Alpha in her own naked eyes. For over three years now the trauma still hurts her. For over three years, she continues to cry in pain every night and This time around, she decided to take her revenge on the Alpha Son. She was gladly happy when she heard the news of the Alpha death and his wife.

They died exactly the way her parents died also. But she can't forgive Ralph for what he did to her and for where she is today. She will make sure that his generation pays for his sin. She stood up from the maid quarters and walked around the pack, searching for some fresh air when she encountered someone.

The person back was blocking her at the moment, so she decided to approach the person only to find out that it was the Alpha. What's him doing outside by this time of the day? What even surprised her more was the fact that he was sobbing.

Ashina didn't bother to reveal herself to him since he wouldn't know her. She retreated her footsteps by walking backwards only to hit her leg with something, which pulled his attention and that let him know that someone was standing close to him.

"Who are you?" Before he could ask that question, she had already turned her back to him, making it hard for him to see her face.

"I'm sorry, please excuse me". She spoke and ran off from him before he could walk closer to her
