Ariana's POV

As Alpha Derek pronounced the sentence on Colin, my jaw went slack in surprise. Everyone else in the room were surprised too except Alpha Derek. I was puzzled. What had Colin done to make the Alpha order him to be whipped in public tomorrow? I wanted to know. I needed to find out, but I was saved from having to ask Alpha Derek when he himself spoke.

"All of you present in this office might be wondering what Colin did to warrant a public whipping and I will tell you. I normally eat what the whole pack members eat at all times, except that my meals are usually prepared specially. You, girl," he said pointing at me. "When you went to the kitchens this morning, and you met Colin there, what did he tell you the morning meal was?" he asked me.

I blinked rapidly before I answered his question. "He said it was porridge, fresh fruits and cookies, Master," I replied.
