Chapter XXXII

The next morning, the Duke woke up, put on his white robe and headed to Jimmy's room. He arrived very late the last night from the other village, so he didn't want to wake him up. He walked between the corridors, happily mumbling a song he heard some children singing while holding a small blue box in his hand.

"Good morning, Your Grace," Karlyle greeted him, "Your breakfast is ready."

"Thank you, I will be there after I wake up Jimmy."

"Alright." the butler bowed and walked back to the dining room.

When he arrived, he cleared his throat and knocked on the door. He knew Jimmy would be still sleeping, so he just entered. He approached the bed, thinking he would find him curled up in his sheets as usual, but he froze when he saw a man holding him. He felt his heart bursting inside his chest, seeing him sleeping peacefully in the king's arms.

"I cannot believe it," he mumbled to himself.
