Chapter 10

As I hang here, suspended in the air, my wrists bear the weight of my entire body, causing a dull ache to radiate through my arms. The sensation is intensified by the tightness that encircles my wrists, constricting them like an invisible vice grip. It feels as if my blood struggles to flow freely, hindered by the unyielding pressure.

But the torment doesn't end there. A similar sensation grips my waist, as if a serpent has slithered its way around me, coiling tightly and constricting my every breath. The grip is suffocating, leaving me gasping for air, as if the very life force within me is being slowly squeezed away.

Desperate for a breath, I yearned for the oxygen to fill my lungs, to invigorate my weary body. The weight upon my chest had become unbearable, suffocating me in its relentless grip. With every ounce of strength left within me, I summoned the courage to pry open my heavy eyelids, allowing the world to flood my vision once more.
