"Amaris, the doctor is here to see you." Tristan gently shook me, waking me up. I groaned and opened my eyes. The doctor was stood at the foot of the bed, reading my medical chart. He looked up from the chart and beamed at me.

"It's been a while since I last saw you... Alpha." He smiled brightly at me. I frowned at him, I don't recognise him. "I see you don't remember me, I was the one that treated you after Al-" He was cut off by Tristan snarling at him, "Not now, Doc. Amaris needs to rest and bringing that up will only set her back." Tristan warned.

The doctor shook his head and apologised before coming round the side of the bed to me. "I'm Doctor Reeves." He greeted. "So, Alpha how are you feeling?" He questioned, staring down at me. I rolled my eyes and snorted, "I'd be much better if you didn't call me Alpha." I groaned. He glanced between me and Tristan awkwardly. "But... You're my Alpha." He stammered.
