When Navier said that he paid—he literally paid for whatever Sophia and Jelly was having, and he almost meant that he paid his side of their deal. She was so stunned that she only finally realized what was happening when she got in Navier’s car and Jelly was waving one last time before going her way.
“W-What…?” She blinks a couple of times.
Navier chuckles and pulls her own seat belt to buckle it in for her. “Did it finally sink into you that you’re with me now?”

Navier is feeling very good that all his research did a great job with his and Sophia’s first date. Yes, he really did a lot of research because he does not want to mess their first day.
