“Anthea!” Someone called Anthea's name loudly when she was sitting in the lounge of the hospital alone. She looked up before glancing at the source of the voice.

“Emi!” Anthea looked at Emilia in surprise while standing up from her seat. Emilia rushed to her before pulling her into a hug, while Silas followed behind her.

“What's happening?” She asked, looking at Anthea's dishevelled state. There were dried tears staining her face.

“He had a sudden cardiac arrest.” Anthea replied with a sigh as they pulled apart. She glanced at Silas, who was standing a few meters away, before nodding at him in acknowledgement.

“Oh my god! How is he now?” Emilia asked, looking genuinely shocked and concerned.

“They managed to stabilize him but took him back to the ICU.” Anthea replied, taking a long breath. Emilia squeezed her hands lightly, trying to comfort her. However, her heart and mind were in chaos after whatever happened in the morning. Rayan was blaming himself for Benjamin’s sudden condit
