34. Meeting Trisha

Marcus' POV

I drove into the vicinity with a mini truck car tailing behind me. The truck was driven by a pitmaster and his assistant whom I hired to make barbecues for the party. In its trunk stood a large grill set alongside a cooler containing frozen raw beef.

My eyes scanned the car-park to see the vehicle stationed haphazardly at the side of the other cars belonging to my father. The unfamiliar vehicle was a red four-seat sports car, its shapes and design giving an exotic vibe.

I snickered.

Derrick must've borrowed this car to attend the party. There's no way he could afford something this beautiful. He had called me some minutes ago, informing me that he was at the address I had given him for the party. So I contacted the security to let him in.

Instead of driving to the garage, I turtled forward to the foot of the mansion so it would be easier to move the stuff in my car as well as the heavy barbecue grill in the truck behind me.
