The walk to the room was quiet as well, the maid stopped at a door, pushed it open and handed Claudia a key card.

“This would give you access to a lot of doors in the palace. When you want to go see Miss Roberts, use the intercom on one and I will be here to take you there." The maid said to Claudia who shook her head no. She wanted to see Madison immediately so that she could ascertain that everything was okay with her.

“Not a problem, but can we go now? I would rest better if I was sure that she was okay.” I said to the maid who shook her head no.

“No miss, the alpha instructs that you should be settled in first before I can take you to go see the miss.” The maid said to Claudia firmly who took the key card and entered the room after the maid without saying a word.
