Who would have that that Kalamar would be intertwined in all of this already?

Kalamar and I had met randomly one day, but perhaps it was fate after all. The Supernatural Council had get-togethers where leaders and future leaders of any species could attend and build connection.

He stood apart from all of the rest. Some people had tried to speak with him, but I was the only one that he had opened up to. I had immediately deduced that he was a dragon, a powerful one at that, but I did not speak to him simply because of that but because of his personality.

Kalamar was a perpetual flirt with certain individuals. I was one of them, but he knew that I was waiting for my mate. He had a short list of people that he could stand, and I was thankfully on that list.

I knew that he was a dragon hybrid, but I never knew what type he was or his rank. Rank was never a concern of mine. He was going to become the King of his kind, bringing his people back into the light and out of the shadows
