I was down in the dungeon working on the rogue when my phone rang in my pocket. Fumbling for it, my eyes widened, and my heart pounded in my chest when I saw Jaela’s name flash across my screen. I scolded myself for picking up after the first ring, smacking the phone against my forehead.

“Hello” I said into the phone, hoping my voice didn’t sound too anxious.

“I’m crossing your border in 25 minutes be there” the phone disconnected as soon as they finished speaking. Again, what is it with people hanging up on me.
