Chapter 14

When tanya got back to her room, the smile on her face vanished. She really hated this room gloomy atmosphere.

She then picked up her phone and tucked it in the trousers pocket, then she picked up the big black blanket and left the room.

The next morning, Alexander had already woken up, and he came downstairs for his early morning coffee and newspaper, when he saw a little kitten, or maybe a little girl, curled up one the sofa.

He walked over to her place and saw her sleeping peacefully. Her whole body was covered by the blanket, leaving only her head out, making her look like a cat.

She seemed to be murmuring something while sleeping, so Alexander leaned closer to her to hear what she was saying.

“I really miss you, mum. I also miss your pancakes and your hugs even if I'm always pushing you away.”

Alexander had to strain his ears to heat what she was saying clearly, and judging from her tone, she was really heartbroken.
