Chapter 19 - Suffocation

“Maximus – I’ve warned you about this. Don’t do these things to anger me, we are no longer kids…,” I was shocked as Master Zonner seemed very serious. Aside from earlier situations and during fights, he’s always been kind.

In particular, I heard Master Zonner was always kind to his brother – conceding to Maximus’ every whim.

“What…? I-I don’t get-,” Maximus was interrupted as Master Zonner glared at him.

Maximus could only shut his mouth as he sat tight…

“Nathan, come to my tent later,” I froze in my spot as Master Zonner walked back towards his tent.

I look over to Kimur as I pleaded with my eyes – however, he only looked down at his food as he deliberately avoided me. I then avert my gaze at the now-behaved Maximus.

I glared at him, “This is his fault – everything is his fault,” I thought – hoping he can somehow get my message telepathically.

“You should clean up, Nathan – you need to tend to the Master,” Kimur finally said as he sat up
