Chapter 12: Sick

When tomorrow came I entered my office earlier so that I can finish all the important things I need to do for today.

Hours have passed while typing on my laptop, still I can’t stay still and my eyes keep going back and forth to my laptop and phone.

I tapped the screen so that it will be turned on. I cannot help but to be disappointed when I saw that Kurt still haven’t messaged me.

Usually, he keeps on texting me. And now I am getting worried if something happened to him.

I turn off my laptop and rotated my swivel chair. I look up at the ceiling and stared at it. Hay… if he will still not text me earlier, I will go to his condo unit. I cannot stay still here.

I tightly close my eyes and open them after a minute. Then after that, I turned on my laptop again and start to work.

Lunch came and I gave my phone a look, still no text.

I ordered Yvet to get me a food at the cafeteria, I have no energy to go down.

After eating, I rest for a while, then started again in my work.
