Chapter 241

Evelyn knew the lady in front of her was Clara's grandmother. By right, Evelyn shouldn't feel anything positive toward the elderly lady. Hence, she didn't know why she couldn't help feeling heartbroken when she saw Sally crying like that.

Evelyn held Sally's arm and warmly replied, "Mrs. Miles Senior, I am Evelyn."

When Sally heard those words, she wiped her tears off in disappointment. She held Evelyn's hand and sobbed. She asked, "Why aren't you Sonya? You look just like my Sonya when she played that song. Are the two of you—"

Before she could finish talking, Clara interrupted. She rubbed Sally's shoulder and looked sad when she asked, "Grandma, do you miss Mom? I miss her, too. I'll take you to her tomorrow, okay?"

Sally couldn't finish her sentence when she saw the tears on Clara's face.

Sally didn't know why she saw Sonya when she looked at Evelyn. Everything from their smile to their style was too similar. That made Sally wonder if the two of them genuinely weren't related.
