Lies have their shades of good and evil, and Eulalia didn't believe the lies Percival spun were benign.

A hollow smile played on her lips, not reaching her eyes, which were desolate, making her smile uglier than tears.

"You love me, so you want to turn me into a fool?" Eulalia's eyes were blurred with tears. "You're so afraid of me regaining my memory, how can you expect me not to dwell on the past?"

Hearing this name, Percival panicked, feeling the thing he feared most closing in on him, with no way out.

"Is he dead?"

"He must have been very important to me, otherwise why would I dream of him so often?" Eulalia mumbled hoarsely.
