Doctor Rian drove his car calmly through the traffic jam, then they came to a turn outside the city, towards the quiet road.
Renee, who had been silent because of being tense, turned around and looked at Doctor Rian curiously. “Where are we going, doctor?”
Doctor Rian turned his head and smiled sweetly. “To a house on the outskirts of town, like a villa in the mountains, you will be safe there and Mr Sean will not be able to reach you.”
Renee nodded her head and looked straight ahead. The scenery outside was a forest and a winding road, the night grew darker and Renee began to feel sleepy. Finally she leaned her head comfortably on the chair and began to fall asleep.
