Chapter eight

Memories of Dreams

Wondering upstairs to look through some of her mom's stuff, hoping there was something written down about these demons and deaths. The big question was what they were looking for. Opening her wooden cabinet, Megan pulled a box out that was filled with notebooks. Her mom loved writing and would write what she had always thought were fairy tales.

One notebook she opened was about a mortal girl and a demon falling in love, which started a chain of evil. She read how the family died one by one and how the only survivor was one boy with clear blue eyes. It was written how he would have to fight the darkness that roamed the earth. He would be the one to save us, but he will need help from others that control the elements.

One would master water and the other handle earth. Soon, fire and air would join them. Seeing that the story was written in her mother's handwriting, she took everything as fact because could never remember when her mother had lied to her growing up.
