A YEAR EARLIER
Early Monday, Jessica received a call from Dannie around six thirty in the morning. She had slept on the couch when he was blazed to wake up and drive for Beverley hills.
She rushed up the stairs to the room where Vivana had rested, woke her up so they could both get ready for their journey.
At around seven thirty, they were on the road driving off. Just as they were going, Jessica drove passing a dirty red Porsche car that was parked at the side of the road.
Intuitively, she decided to turn the car around and find out what had happened to the owners and why an expensive car was parked in the middle of the street.
She came parking right behind it and out she left knocking at the window. On the inside was a young man who was clicking his pen repeatedly and relentlessly.
He had turned facing the young lady who was gaz
Dannie brought him in as he kept looking around through the room. He then picked an eye on the other Jonathan. He walked calmly taking a seat at the chair right next to him. Jonathan was too looking at him in disbelief but as soon as he sat right next to him, he muttered. "I know this guy? His name is Oliver Stone. He and his brother Frank Stone served beside me in the army. Frank was a very close friend of mine but unfortunately, he died on our last tour." "What makes you believe he is Oliver Stone?" Keenly inquired Jessica. "You've touched him right? His right hand is metallic." Jessica walked up to him to confirm. "Continue." She joyed. "This guy here blamed me for his brother's death. I've blamed myself too for letting my friend convince me in living him behind. I can't forgive myself. When we returned, Ol
"I will talk to you later." Vivana hang up the phone as she watched Jessica head into the room with a basket of fresh fruits and a bouquet of white lilies. "How are you?" Jessica greeted with a splendid smile handing Vivana the bouquet she immediately refused. "Oh! I'm allergic to those." She answered trying to grab the basket of fruits. "But I can take these." She smirked. Jessica walked back trashing the flowers into the bin after she apologized then heading back to seat. "I asked you a question." She muttered calmly. "Oh yeah. I'm alright. How are you?" "I'm okay. You shouldn't mind about me. You know last time when I stayed up here looking at you, I realized that having you in the field is really dangerous. And I don't want to risk your life again." She calmly dejected leaning right at the mattress with her
"Um... nope. Thank you. Miss receptionist." Frowned Jessica after running out of ideas them turning to Dannie who was already having his badge out showing it to the lady. "We are detectives Miss. We are here to investigate the supposed suicide of Bernard Casadas." Sentenced Dannie watching Jessica struggling to get her Badge out as well after she had realized that Dannie's strategy hadworked smoothly. "Bernard Casadas is dead?" Asked the lady in disbelief having the two detective wondering. "Yes. The man fell off your building and died. The police has been outside for a couple of hours now don't tell us you didn't know." Explained Dannie too concerned. "Listen sir. I barely leave this place. Almost everyone barely leaves. This place is so addictive that most of the clients haven't left for almost two weeks. The games are about the best and oldest player.&nb
"I just don't get it. Why are we in Columbia?" Whined Vivana holding onto Jessica's arm as they both dressed up for the beach. "Having a few days off from all the crimes and work. Don't you want it?" Smirked Jessica flirting with Vivana. "Of course I love the vacation. Shouldn't we have gone to Mexico? I hear they have really nice food. They have better spiced chilaquiles." The two were walking slowly along the beach. "I heard Columbians have a very nice dish I want you to try out as well. It's called Posta Negra Cartagena." "Buena tarde." Vivana greeted a random lady who passed by them. As she had been doing earlier. "You should stop with the greeting. It's embarrassing." Noted Jessica pulling Vivana close to her. "It's not my fault you don't know any Spanish. I'm using my efforts right now." She chuckled run
Jessica started looking around the blue room, through the files and draws but nothing had yet showed any value. Vivana later on came with two cups of coffee placing Jessica's at the table. "I've been looking into Franklin moonlight.” she suddenly mattered. "What? Turned Jessica. Where did you here that name from? I haven't talked about any franklin moonlight to you." "What if I tell you that I even know his face?" She bragged. "No. Where did you see him?" "The guys who kidnapped me last time. Their boss is Franklin Moonlight. And I been looking into them with Alex. Sorry for not telling you but he seemed to have met the son of Mathew Moonlight. I just asked him to question the guy." "Did you see the real Franklin Moonlight?" She angrily asked again. "Yes. I saw his face and took a few identifica
"Hello there young man." Greeted a pretty handsome aged fellow around his mid-forties getting Alex's attention. He was dressed casually in a black jean pants with a black t-shirt covered by a blue Jeans jacket with a pair of black sneakers and at his face where sunglasses that had him look very gentle. At his wrist were a couple of bangles and the left had a wrist golden Versace watch. Around his left eyebrow was a thin plaster. "Hello sir. Welcome to Emin." Politely responded Alex cleaning the couple of mugs that were set upon the desk. "Great." He settled upon Jessica's usual seat. Smirked to continue. "I could use a whiskey and a little chat with you." "Alright sir. We could start with leaving that seat and using any of the others." Stated Alex with a burner smile upon his face. "Oh! No. I think I'm comfortable in this one." He remarked smiling
"You realize you're seventeen bro. You're just a kid. I think the woman isn't even interested in you at all." "That's what she told me. But I'm working on it. She will get to like me." Projected Mickey believingly. "Whatever man. I'm happy for you though. That you're finally finding attraction again." "Don't play with me." Chuckled Mickey happily. "Not yet. But soon." "Who is that on the phone?" Jessica minimizingly called as she rose up from the bed. "Ms. J. It's Mickey. He wanted to talk to you about something." Turned Alex trying to stop her from moving. "Give me the phone." She raised her hand asking for it. "Give it. I need to talk to him too." Alex handed her the phone timidly as she stood up to talk. "Yes Mickey." She answered. "Are you alright Ms. W
"We need to talk." Adjusted an old fat man on the phone looking through his window behind his desk. In his late sixties. Suited up in a loosely black coat and red tie. Right upon his left chest was the USA flag badge. "You better not be the reason behind the bombing that happened last weekend in LA."Right upon his desk was a table tag named Mr. Jorge Valdez Jr. His office looked elegant and definitely that of the highest position. After he was done with the call, he turned around to get startled by his chief of staff."What are you doing startling me in my own office Janie." He snapped throwing himself back to his seat."I'm sorry Mr. President. The vice president insists on meeting you. He is right outside sir.""Let him come in." Jorge turned a fouled face in agreement."Alright sir." Turned Janie walking away."And Janie! Don't you ever walk into my office without knocking ever again?" He added having her agree to get out.
