A Wedding to Plan

Soon, Gerald forgot all about Bella and focused on the meeting he had come for.

One of his friends from the industry invited him to this meeting so he could beg the director for a role, so here he was.

Contrary to what he told Richard at their table, nothing has been decided yet. It was only when the roles for the new movie were being appointed that he found out that out of two hours of screen time, he only had less than a minute.

Apparently, it was a cameo appearance for a character that wasn’t even important and wouldn’t leave any impression in the viewer's mind.

Gerald was so mad that he could hardly control his facial expressions. Seeing people he used to be better than, take on more important roles, including the supporting roles and main casts overtake him, a thousand needles pricked his heart.

Gerald didn’t dare to refuse the role otherwise the little money he was supposed to receive would not enter his pocket, but he definitely had a home to vent his anger in.
