Chapter 13

RYLAN'S POV

AS we always do when he comes, we exchange 'I'm home' and 'welcome home' like a real family. Dylan called me from the kitchen to the living room.

"Come, my Ry. I'll introduce you to someone," he said enthusiastically. I nodded and approached them.

"Ry, this is Nico," he introduced me to the man next to him.

He is the one Dylan was referring to earlier, the broken hearted friend. I looked at him properly. Also tall, fair skin and slightly narrow eyes man. He also smiled at me beautifully. I extended my hand to shake hands with him but he just looked at it and didn't reach for it.

"Nico, this is Rylan. The one I was talking on the phone earlier," Dylan introduced me.

But, Nico just kept staring at me and had no intention of reaching for my hand so I just put it down. I think when he noticed the disappointment on my face, he quickly laughed and messed with my hair.

"Hello, Rylan!" he greeted happily.
