Hello lovely readers.The update schedule for Emilia has been a little inconsistent this past week and I'm really sorry😔, this is because I have been preparing for my school exams which commences next week😩 and I have tests in a few days so I will be updating one chapter a week until I'm done with my exams. This should take about two weeks and once I'm done, I will be giving you guys three or more chapters weekly😁.While I'm on this short break, why don't we have an interactive session where you tell me what you like and dislike about my story Emilia. Emilia Peyton Emilia snuggled even closer to what felt like a hard pillow but comfortable nonetheless. It had a certain warmth to it which she loved. Her eyes flickered open and she was met with an unfamiliar surrounding. It wasn’t until she felt something beating like a heart that she realized that it wasn’t a pillow but LIAM. Her eyes almost popped out of their sockets as she took in their present position. Hello Readers.I would like to sincerely apologize for the abrupt halt in the update schedule of Emilia. Due to some reasons I couldn't write but I would like to assure you that those reasons have been taken care of and from tomorrow, the 12th of January, Emilia will resume unfailingly with it's usual schedule of three chapters per week. Emilia Peyton. “I love you.” His voice came out in a whisper but I heard it, thankfully. I could feel my heart beating really fast, but why? I already knew that he loved me but hearing him say it felt completely different. “I love you, so much, Emilia. Emilia Peyton “Mum. She..” Liam tries to say but his words seem to be stuck in his throat. My own heart had started beating at an uneven pace. I was praying earnestly in my heart that nothing happened to Lucia. “Talk to me.” I say, my hands going over to his. No, not Lucia. “We should go.” I tell him, walking over to the closet to get a few clothes. “Liam!” I yell. Emilia’s POV A few hours later, the door opens to reveal the doctor. A good looking middle aged man who looked tired. He takes his glasses off, handing his notepad to the nurse that followed behind. “Chris, how is she?” Mr Richard hurries over to him, the rest of us following behind. Seeing how they were on first name basis, it only meant that they were close acquaintances. “She is stable now. You brought her in just in time. One more minute and the story would have been different.” The doctor said with a sad smile. I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding, my entire body shaking from the relief.
