CHAPTER 12

Claire felt her knees tremble as she walked out of the interview room. He was there. How could he be there, seated at the head of the table? She had thought she would never see him again. Heck, she had thought she would never see any of them again. Somehow, all three of them had ended up in her life again. Why was fate so cruel to her?

Myla rose when she entered the waiting room. "Oh dear, you look pale. Was it so difficult?"
