I watched, stunned, as Clementine’s eyes flashed with flecks of bronzy yellow, and she started to scratch at her skin like she had a fever. Lucian gasped in shock as he witnessed her bones begin to snap. Her arms dislocated, and her legs bent backward as she fell onto all fours.
