Chapter 15

Roisin pov

Keran lifted me into his arms. He held me close and spoke his words softly to me.

"Where to now king?" Axis grins. Keran shrugged his shoulders, he was exhausted as well.

"My home, we all need rest for what's to come, '' he sighs, his eyes returning to normal. Axis nods and embraces us and we appear back in our foyer.

"You realize she is capable of doing this as well," Axis smirks. Keran chuckles and tells him to go sleep in any room he finds. He carries me to our room and lays me in bed, crawling next to me and passing out soon after.

The morning sun shone brightly on my face, I was having peaceful dreams and didn't want to wake up to the reality of what happened. I frowned and crinkled my nose, as something kept tickling it. I brushed the annoyance away and felt lips pressed against mine. I opened my sleepy eyes to see Keran grinning at me.

"Good morning my queen," he smiles.
