The Promise

We were thrown out of that place, to make a long story short. I was shivering in the cold while walking on the empty, dark street, looking for a place to stay.

I muttered some words to myself a few times, and Hades looked at me every time I did that.

"Well, fvck it!" I stopped and couldn't stop screaming. "Could this day even get worse?"

I angrily snapped that even my flaring nose was blowing cold smoke. Hades was looking at me with his deep eyes. I glared at him for a few seconds and rolled my eyes before continuing to walk.

I still don't want to believe it. Unless I talk to that woman, only then will I believe again.

"Maybe that was his accomplice or something?" I talked to myself while walking.

We were not accepted at the inn we went to, so we are currently returning to where we came from. Our steps echoed when we passed by the bridge that connects the central and rural areas where our house is located.

I had passed there when I realized that the sound of Hades' footsteps following
