The room heated up as the couple stared at each other, waiting for the other person to speak, but they both knew they had to watch what they said next.

Nera sat on the bed. She didn't mean to sound provocative or anything. All she wanted was to make a suggestion that they change their strategy if they wanted to have a baby.

"I asked you a question, Nara."

"I took a pregnancy test, and it came back negative," she quickly changed the subject.

There was more silence in the room as Marcus stared at her, confused rather than disappointed. He was certain she was pregnant this time. The sex they were having was too much for her not to get pregnant

"I…thought…I thought we were supposed to do the test together?" He asked.

"I couldn't wait; I am sorry," Nera cried out. "I think we are doing something wrong, and that's why I mentioned the sex pills," she explained.
