Chapter thirty-seven
Abbigail's POV
I just found out I'm having another set of twins and I'm scared. I lost the last set of twins and wasn't sure if I could go through it again. I was too upset to go visit Beth and Shawn told our family it was because of what happened to her.
I'm grateful for her to keep this set of twins quiet for now. I'm thankful for Jordan helping keep it secret. The two of them were doing their best to calm me down and I loved them both for it. Melanie even tried to help calm me down while she let others in to see Beth.
When we were alone with her, Shawn told her about the twins. She agreed to keep it secret for now and was given permission to tell Beth when they were alone. Shawn also told her about the guy who tried to kill her and Melanie agreed to having a cop outside Beth's hospital room. Shawn's POVI woke to Beth trying to take Michael from my chest. She holds her hands up apologetically and I wrap my arms around him as he whimpers from being disturbed. Abbigail's POVI woke up in the middle of the night to Shawn singing quietly, but she wasn't in the room. I climb out of bed and go looking for her. I follow her voice to Michael's room and she was gently rocking him back to sleep. Abbigail's POVI was napping on the couch when I woke to a kiss on my forehead. Shawn was knelt on the floor in front of me with her hand caressing my stomach. Abbigail's POVTammy called me after Alexis passed out after her ultrasound. She said that Shawn went into a trance and wasn't responding to her voice. Melanie was there when Tammy told me what happened on speaker and her eyes fill with tears. Hello fellow readers! I just wanted to announce that I have a second book coming out soon :). For those of you who have enjoyed Fated Love you're going to enjoy Soulmates. I would love to hear any feedback as long as it's not rude. I know I have typos and plan to fix them later. Soulmates so far has four chapters. I will be writing both books at the same time. Shawn's POV Melanie and I installed cameras around the house. The police department has direct access to the feed, should there ever be an intruder while we're working, a car will be dispatched immediately. I'm not taking any risks of Greg showing up and harming anyone while I'm not there to protect them. It's been a few weeks and thankfully he hasn't tried anything.
